Archeological Dig in Art Supplies Reveals Ancient Drawing

Found this in a book of pastel paper I haven't used in years. So, yeah, this probably dates back to when I started the blog. It cracks me up though. I think I was testing out a new set of colored pencils. I know I said no more Lugo drawings ever, but hey, that was four years ago (I know it's still only about 5 posts ago, but whatever)

Big Whoop

Brand new sketch book. Scary right? Brunetti called it paralyzing. Reminds me of an old Richie Rich comic where Richie is giving a tour and there is a lapidarist poised, ready to cleave the largest diamond in the world (of course Richie's dad owns it, duh!). But it turns out he's been stuck there for twenty years. All that scary potential. I could fuck the whole thing up! I could make my masterpiece. Oh what will I do?!

I've decided that the best bet is to just tell myself it doesn't matter on page one. It was this or five pages of dicks. I still may do that...
